The electrical transformer calculator will help you interpret your oil analysis results and better manage your transformer asset. The transformer calculator uses the latest IEC and IEEE standards to help gain insight from your oil analysis results. Oil analysis is the primary condition monitoring technique used to assess a transformer’s condition and this app will help you understand your results!

The electrical transformer calculator app includes:

• Doernenburg ratio analysis.

• Rogers ratio analysis.

• Dissolved Gas in Oil Analysis (DGA).

• Physicochemical analysis (water content, colour etc.).

• Furan analysis (and degree of polymerisation).

• Duval triangle.

• Gas generation rate calculator.

Limits for each analysis type have been set using a simple traffic light system; if the app shows red you may need to take action. Trending of all analysis types is possible; this feature gives you a good overview of past and present values.

In addition, you can save all your electrical transformer data within the app and online. This includes:

• Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

• Model.

• kVA or MVA.

• Primary voltage.

• Secondary voltage.

• Serial number.

• Year.

• Type.

• And more…

But that's not all… The unique ‘Share-a-Spare’ feature allows you to register spare transformers you have in your fleet. If you ever need a spare, contact TRAFOL and we will let you know if there is a appropriate registered spare in your area. Likewise, you may also be contacted through TRAFOL to help other plant’s if they need a spare. Share-a-Spare is an opt-in programme with no obligation to opt-in.

CSV Extract – If you wish to have your data in csv format, simply send us an email (help@trafol.com) and we will extract it from the database and email it to you directly (a direct download feature is being developed).
